Interview with... Sarah Blake

I love interviewing porn stars.
The reason being that quite simply, they are very honest people.
That, and I have a reason to post up nudy pictures on my blog site. I just wonder what my wife will think?!

Please enjoy my interview with Sarah Blake.

1. How did you get into the adult film industry?

When I was 20, I was a webcam girl and really liked it. Later I tried dancing and met a sweet girl that was featuring and she told me that you just go out to LA and find an agent. So I did did my research on agencies and3 months later I was stepping off the plane in Los Angeles.

2. What has been your favourite production?

By far it has been the productions from my own company. I have stepped up my Femdom content and since its also part of my real life lifestyle with my slave, its not really like work.

3. What prep work do you do before each production?

There really is not a whole lot of prep work that needs to be done for my content until we are going for some special theme like getting a certain outfit or props. Much of the content is me, the camera, hot outfits(or none at all) and make-up.

4. Why are you also known as Joey Little Trouble?

I worked for Lightspeed Media and and I already owned (the owner was going to buy it right in front of me but couldn't, ha ha!) so he came up with a different persona, one that was 18 instead of my 23. He picked "joey" because he said I reminded him of "Joe from the Facts of Life Show.

5. Who would you love to work with?

I would love to work with Jesse Jane. I did a webcam show with her once and we got to kiss. I have had a little crush on her ever since.

6. Some of the films you’ve appeared in have some great titles. Do you have a personal favourite?

I don't really have favorite movie since I don't watch my own porn but I do have favorite people to work for like Nica at Girlfriend's Films. She is a real sweetheart!

7. Have you done much convention work?

I have signed at the AVN convention here in Las Vegas a few times, had my own booth one year but I don't go much to conventions.

8. Do you have any advice for people wanting to get into this industry?

Yes, Be careful of the sharks that are looking to take advantage of you since you are new. Only do the sex acts that you personally want to do and enjoy. And finally, no matter who you are, what you look like or what you can do, someone will always be there to hate on you, be it another performer, director, friends, ect. Adult video is forever so you have to decide if that is going to be OK with you 10 years from now or when you have moved on from the adult industry. Everyone you know will know about it and see it.

9. What’s coming up next for you?

Right now I'm not starting many new adult projects other than what's already on my plate. With 7 ppv video stores online and they keep me pretty busy. I "threw it at the wall" and now that I've calculated the sales and traffic data, I know what to work on and what to let fall by the wayside. The industry is evolving again and the way people get their entertainment is as well so mobile is probably the next venture in adult entertainment for me.

I also am working on a mainstream food project. I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease last year and I also am Hypoglycemic. Being ill for the past few years has made me to a ton of research on the disease as well as having to change my eating habits. I can't eat anything with Wheat, Rye, or barley in it or I'm sick for 3 days to a week again. My plans are still in the works for this project but I hope to help inform more people about this little known Disease that is VERY common. Most people that are having issues aren't being diagnosed or realise that they can't digest gluten. They have all these symptoms but don't know why they are sick. It took over a year for me to figure it out and 12 doctors didn't. My heart is really in this project because of my condition, being sick, and the utter LACK of information that is out there for it. I hope to change that and help people.

10. Is there an event or charity you would like to bring to my readers’ attention?

Nothing specific but I always give to charities that are for animals and the troops. Both need our love and support.

Thank you very much to Sarah Blake for her time on this interview.
Please let me know what you think, by posting a comment below.

Until next time.

  1. That was a pretty good interview. Plus the diagnosis of Celiac Disease was interesting, you can sometimes forget that pornstars are real people too.

  2. Its true that sometime we can forget that pornstars are people too. Great to read above interview, They are performed pornstar role not for passion but for money.
